BodyStream Sauna instructions

Setup and safe operation for the BodyStream Sauna — from connecting your CO2 source to caring for the chamber, plus the essentials for handling CO2 at home.

Setup instructions

The inflation gun must fully release CO2 or it will escape into the room. Always turn the tank off after filling. Position the neck seal over your head carefully — these components can break without proper handling. For users with smaller necks, an extra seal is available, with future improvements planned.

Safety guidelines

Connection checks

  • Regulator to CO2 tank connection.
  • Blue coiled hose to regulator attachment.
  • Inflation gun to blue coiled hose link.
  • Detect leaks by listening for hissing, or use a soapy water spray to spot bubbles.

Storage & operation

  • Do not exceed 125°F (51.7°C) for tank storage.
  • Turn the tank off when not actively filling.
  • Ensure the neck seal is tight to prevent leakage.
  • Make sure the zipper is pulled down all the way completely.
  • Apply TiZip lubricant if the zipper is difficult; contact support if lubricant runs out.
  • Maintain good room ventilation, and air out the suit after sessions before inserting your head.

Recommended usage

  1. 1Sessions should last 30 to 60 minutes, 3 to 5 times per week.
  2. 2Handle neck seals carefully; avoid wearing jewelry.
  3. 3Wear minimal clothing.
  4. 4Clean inside-out using steam or a cleaning solution.
  5. 5Trim or replace the neck seal for comfort.
  6. 6Drink water post-session.
  7. 7Enhance circulation beforehand — exercise or a warm shower.

CO2 tank safety

  • Standard pressure is approximately 860 psi at room temperature.
  • Typical cylinders contain about 20 lbs of liquid CO2.
  • Expansion ratio is 535:1 — 2 lbs of liquid expands to about 20 cubic feet of gas.
  • CO2 accumulates in low areas; ventilation is critical.

Use CO2 safely

Use only food-grade CO2, keep the room well ventilated, and never place your head inside the suit until the CO2 has aired out. If anything is unclear, reach our team before your session.
